Join the Incline Village Waste Not Clean Water Team to be a part of World Water Monitoring Day! Come help us sample Incline Village streams for water quality monitoring. No previous experience is necessary. Volunteers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Snacks will be provided. Please reserve your spot on the Clean Water Team by Wednesday, September 17th—call 775-832-1284. World Water Monitoring Day is an international education and outreach program that builds public awareness and involvement in protecting water resources around the world by engaging citizens to conduct basic monitoring of their local water bodies. Support your local beaches for the North Lake Tahoe Beach Cleanup Day! Volunteer to collect trash on Saturday, September 20th to be a part of International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day which hosts cleanups all over the world. The amounts and types of trash collected will be recorded and data will be entered into the ICC global tracking records. Bags will be provided.
