Incline Village GID Selected to Participate in National SC Johnson Green Choices Recycling Challenge
Jun 28, 2012
Incline Village GID is competing for $100,000 grant in nationwide challenge that launches local recycling rewards program
“The communities of Incline Village and Crystal Bay, Nevada, known as IVGID, are thrilled to be representing Nevada in the SC Johnson Green Choices Recycling Challenge as it is the perfect way to kick-start the new recycling rewards program and local participation,” said Madonna Dunbar, resource conservationist of IVGID. “We encourage everyone to get involved — residents will have the opportunity to protect the environment, invigorate the local economy and help keep IVGID clean, while earning everyday savings from Recyclebank and working toward the grant from SC Johnson. Our community efforts will go a long way towards protecting Tahoe’s natural resources, promoting economic and environmental sustainability.”
